Job Description

The Head of Projects and Business Development is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of all projects, as well as driving business development initiatives to support the growth and sustainability of the organization. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a deep understanding of business development strategies.

Projects   

 

 

  • Overseeing the project, monitors their progress and completion, and ensures that they meet the expectations of the clients.   
  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.  
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.  
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards as per the Mission.  
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information and submit to the leadership.  
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.  
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that Management is informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.  
  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.  

 

 

Client Relations & BD   

 

 

  • Develop relationship / networking with multiple stakeholders - Govt. departments / Embassies / Ministry officials / Diplomats.  
  • Securing new business / tenders.  
  • Maintaining continuous communication and meetings with the Embassy to manage the relationship with the client/Mission.  
  • Working with the Regional Head & Leadership team in Head office to develop & implement strategies to acquire new client business.  

 

  • Participating in the BD team’s ongoing efforts to ensure new work is aligned with our mission and strategy.
