Job Description

The job objective is to oversee the introduction and performance of new products, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure a dynamic and appealing product range.

This includes managing the product lifecycle, from conception through to exit strategies for underperforming lines, and conducting market and competitor analysis to inform assortment planning and pricing strategies. The role requires continuous monitoring and adjustment of product offerings and pricing to maintain competitiveness and profitability, alongside planning store layouts and merchandise assortments to optimize sales and customer experience

 

New Product Introduction (NPI)
Developing and Introducing new solitaire products frequently.
Coordinating with solitaire designers and suppliers for the new creations.
Creating solitaire product range for collection and promotion launches.
Monitoring sales performance of solitaire new introductions.
Suggesting best sellers based on the design performance.
Exit plan for non-moving designs.
Understanding solitaire Trends and doing market research.
 

Assortment Planning
Planning and preparing planograms for new stores.
Review and suggest corrections in the Planogram of existing stores based on the required turn.
Ensuring alignment of stores is above the threshold level.
 

Competition Study
Visiting competition frequently, to understand their product offerings.
Promotion offers and collection launches.
Comparing their pricing strategy.
Monitoring any changes in Buy back and exchange policy.

 

Pricing Strategy
Reviewing and maintaining the required product GP for each category.
Suggest any changes or revisions of selling prices.
Ensuring the solitaire prices are competitive in the market.
Suggest pricing of new ingredients for management approval.
