Civil Engineer

About the Role

Join our projects team as a Civil Engineer and take ownership of critical infrastructure projects across the UAE. You'll bridge the gap between design and execution, preparing detailed scopes of work, managing material specifications, and ensuring projects stay on track technically and financially. Your expertise will directly impact project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive Scopes of Work (SOW) for civil engineering projects, defining technical requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria
• Select and specify materials and construction methods based on project requirements, local regulations, and cost-effectiveness analysis
• Manage day-to-day project execution, monitoring progress against schedules and budgets while maintaining detailed project documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, expedite approvals, and maintain quality standards
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews to ensure work meets engineering specifications and safety requirements
• Prepare progress reports and variance analyses for project stakeholders, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on civil engineering experience in the UAE, preferably in commercial, infrastructure, or industrial projects
• Strong proficiency in preparing and managing Scopes of Work and technical specifications
• Proven experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and material suppliers
• Solid understanding of UAE construction codes, regulations, and local material standards
• Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to track budgets, schedules, and quality metrics
• Nice to have: Experience with project management software (Primavera, MS Project) or BIM tools
• Nice to have: Knowledge of MEP coordination or experience in large-scale infrastructure projects
