Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including production, sales, finance, human resources, and strategic planning.

Strategic Planning and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans, business initiatives, and growth strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive threats to inform business strategies and decision-making.
  • Lead business development efforts, including market expansion, new product development, and strategic partnerships.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including production, supply chain management, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency, quality, safety, and costs, and implement measures to improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices across all operational areas.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-control measures to achieve profitability targets and financial sustainability.
  • Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions and drive financial growth.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage cash flow, investments, and financial reporting.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to department heads and teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Set clear goals, expectations, and performance standards for teams and individuals, and conduct regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Develop talent pipelines, mentorship programs, and training initiatives to build a high-performing and motivated workforce.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Develop customer retention strategies, conduct customer satisfaction surveys, and implement initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and repeat business.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify and assess risks, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement across all areas of the business, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures.
