About the Role
We're seeking an experienced MEP Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Electra Street facility in Abu Dhabi. You'll oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations and maintenance across commercial and residential projects, ensuring work meets industry standards and project deadlines. This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical expertise and site management skills will directly impact project success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate MEP site teams during installations and maintenance activities, ensuring work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections and technical assessments to identify issues, verify workmanship, and document progress for compliance reporting
- Prepare detailed progress reports, daily logs, and documentation for engineers, clients, and management, highlighting milestones, challenges, and resolutions
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues, manage scope changes, and maintain transparent communication throughout project execution
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all team members follow UAE labor regulations and industry best practices
- Manage site resources including materials, equipment, and personnel allocation to optimize efficiency and maintain project budgets
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in MEP supervision or site management on commercial or residential projects
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, installation methods, and maintenance procedures
- Proven UAE work experience and familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and coordinate diverse subcontractor teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
- Nice to have: Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or MEP-specific technical certifications
- Nice to have: Experience with project management software and digital reporting tools
