Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sales Head with a minimum of 15 years of proven success in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
  • Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive threats to inform sales strategies and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales objectives with overall business goals and objectives.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and team success.
  • Set sales targets, quotas, and goals for the team, and monitor performance against these metrics.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development programs as needed.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strategies to expand the customer base, acquire new customers, and increase customer retention and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities to generate leads and drive sales.

Sales Operations and Execution:

  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness at each stage.
  • Monitor sales pipelines, track sales performance metrics, and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving sales objectives.

Market Analysis and Competitor Research:

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive threats.
  • Use market insights to develop product positioning strategies, pricing strategies, and sales tactics to gain a competitive edge and maximize market share.
