Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with 15-20 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing or construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded.

Production Planning and Optimization:

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Continuously monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement efficiency measures.
  • Optimize resource utilization, including raw materials, equipment, and manpower, to maximize productivity and reduce costs.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address any issues or non-conformities in the production process.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and consistency.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and motivation.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the production team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to drive individual and team development.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to create a safe working environment for all production staff.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and supplies for production.
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, safety, and costs, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations on production performance, trends, and issues for management review and decision-making.
